Unique Content or Amount of Content?
This question is why we consider ourselves website builders instead of a company that can do website design. Lately, Google has loudly spoken of the importance of the use of unique content to give your visitor a great experience. Which, also goes with saying that quality content is important. Just wanted to make that clear.
Although, it is not always easy to make content unique from one industry to another. It can be done. This is why Google doesn’t make it easy. They do not want the internet polluted with garbage and duplicate content. That is why they reward those with great and unique content above many others.
Contents in Great Amounts
To own a large amount of unique content will be very beneficial for organic positioning of your website. Make sure you do not lose your main objective when trying to create unique content.
Because if the objective is to fill to the website or blog with just a bunch of content to position yourself better organically as rapidly as possible, you will be very well fail in trying to achieve that objective. Take your time. Unique content gets rewarded faster than lots of garbage content.
Our advice continues to be the same, is more beneficial to concentrate in the quality, unique content before the amount. Google values the quality of the Web sites and in the quality of the contents. Google has been very clear that if the site presents/displays a great amount of unique content it will value it higher than other sites. They do not stop there though. They also discuss the amount of traffic that visits your unique content. They feel unique content will increase traffic, giving your visitors a great and meaningful visit to your website.
Without doubt, it is more advisable to publish once per week vs. publishing content 5 times per day. There are some exceptions to this rule, but I would have to speak with you further on this matter to better explain the exceptions to this rule.
Traffic of Visitors
The traffic of visitors and how long they view a page is part of the algorithm Google uses to give more value to your content vs. your competitions content. Also, if you are producing unique content visitors find value in, then they will return more often to get more or to engage with you more often. Google finds this to be great interaction and gives you more value when this happens.
If a Website or blog has a large amount of information but very little of it is excellent, the website will not get much traffic. That is because Google will make it difficult to find.
Simply put, it is better to have one piece of unique content than 10 pieces of copied or garbage content.
